I hate the music, and it is far too loud. I expect more of a spa environment for manicures and pedicures. There is too little space in the pedicure room, and the woodwork, especially in the bathroom, is in need of either cleaning or painting. For the premium prices I pay, I expect a more professional environment...not tattooed hairdressers hanging around the nail techs airing their personal business and borrowing polish. You need to decide what your identity is. I put up with it because I like my nail tech, Teresa, but I have limits and they're being pushed. more

Color & Cut 11/20/2011

I've been seeing Stephanie for years now. She is kind, sweet, and most importantly, knowledgable. She has always done a great job cutting my curly hair, and now, she colors my hair. The only time my hair looks bad is when I wait to long to see her! Also, I have referred at least 5 people to Stephanie and the salon. Dieter Scholtyssek, Paige Wagner, Glenda Thompson, Sarah Rittenhouse & her sister, Betty Arnoldt. Is there any way I can receive a bonus for them? more

Exceptional Experience 11/19/2011

Shampoo tech was great - friendly and helpful with questions I asked. Stephanie was exceptional. She really listened to what my concerns about my hair, answered my questions, gave suggestions about styling I was considering. She explained how she was cutting it, what products she was using, and how I could achieve the same results. She helped me choose products that would be good for my hair. more

Hair Cut and Pedicure 11/18/2011

Both were excellent. I think Tamara is one of the most talented young ladies to have ever cut my hair. She is also very professional and listens to my likes and dislikes. I can only imagine what an asset she will become the longer she works in cosmetology. I think you were lucky to get her and she was equally luck to have landed a job with Shelton's It was my first time with Gwyn and the first time in a long time that I really enjoyed a professional pedicure.
