BEWARE HAVE YOUR LAWYER READY! 9/21/2021

BEWARE OF THIS DEALERSHIP!! We used the Chevy Website to order new 22 inch wheels, tires, and the sensors that monitor air pressure and also paid for the install of those items. When they arrived I was in the hospital so my husband called to get SHELOR SERVICE DEPARTMENT to cancel the install appointment to refund ONLY the install and also told them he would be there within the hour to pick up our wheel and tire package. So he gets there and SHELOR SERVICE DEPARTMENT has refunded the ENTIRE ORDER so we had to buy the wheels, tires, and sensors all over again before the refund ever came back on our check card. Secondly we also ordered the performance exhaust package for the 2021 Tahoe at the same time as the wheels and tire package and the EXHAUST was on back order for about 4 months . So we waited for ever for the exhaust to come in finally got a TEXT (NO CALL) from SHELOR saying that the exhaust would be in so we made the appointment for the service department to put the EXHAUST on when the parts arrived. So I waited until THE DAY OF THE APPOITMENT and was told by SHELOR that the EXHAUST was not there even though they told us it WAS there and to make the appointment! . So I had to cancel that appointment and wait even longer. So a MONTH went by and finally got the exhaust in and made ANOTHER appointment. So this made the 3rd time I had to deal with the service department about the exhaust. We dropped the car off at 6:00AM and were called by 9:30AM saying they were pulling car into the garage and starting the install of the exhaust. 8 hours goes by no call no text so we had already drove an hour from our house to get there and pick the vehicle up before they closed assuming it was done. Go in to get the keys and the tell us that there was a problem and the exhaust didn't fit. Told us the box had been damaged with the exhaust in it and accepted it from shipping and tried to install it and didn't fit correctly because the box didn't have the correct parts in it. Bought a Rav4 a year ago 1/17/2019

I bought a Rav4 a year ago and since lost my job. I went back to try to get a cheaper car and trade this one in and I am in the negative over $4,000 in a yr. I was talked into the GAP insurance and was told that I would build equity with this if I didn't have to use it so I thought I'd have a couple thousand built up but the limit was only $800 when I was paying additional $50 per month for 72 months so you do the math. I won't ever buy from Shelor again. They run your credit every where even though I specifically told them only 2 places to run my credit. more

We have been doing business with them for over 20 years, dealing with one salesman. This past time we didn't get the same sales person. We bought a used jeep with 19000 mile , and still had factory warranty on it. A few months after the sale we started noticing thing going wrong with it . thing that should have been checked ..Needless to say none of it was covered under warranty.. so on top of the payment we have to pay over a 1800.00 to have the front end rebuilt.. I don't think that we will be going back again after all the years.. more

I have dealt with Shelor on several occassions and you can bet the bank that the deal will not be your favor at all. First of all what you are trading in is the biggest piece of junk they have ever seen, even though when I bought it there originally it was the best vehicle coming or going, and whatever you are looking at buying from them has the best price you will ever find. If you feel this review couldn't be right try trading in a vehicle and see how well this review matches up with the way you get treated. more

Shelor's repair center is an experience I go out of my way to avoid. I have only gone there for repairs that absolutely must be done at the dealer. The repair work they do is adequate and they've never tried to stick me with unnecessary work, but it's an enormous hassle to get anything done. You must have an appointment, except for oil change-type work, and no matter when they plan to get to your car your appointment is for a check-in time around 7 or 8 am. This means if you are unable to leave the facility (and as their shuttle provides no means for car seats, many of us with small children are stuck there) you will be sitting in a dull, not especially kid-friendly (or even adult-friendly) waiting room for many hours. Furthermore, the people making the appointments don't appear to communicate with the people doing the work, so even if you notify them that you're going in for a specific part to be installed, they won't check whether the part is available until they have your car and are working on it -- which can mean a second torturous appointment, as I learned the hard way. more
