I had a very good experience here. I bought my wedding dress here. I walked in 10 minutes before closing and fell in love with two dresses that were floor samples. The staff was polite and did not mind that I walked in right before closing. I also got a good deal on a dress since I bought the floor sample. I left happy. A friend, a bride-to-be with high class standards, scoured bridal salons for months in search of the right shop and the right dress, and eventually bought her dress here. Shelley's helped her pick all of the customizations to her gown she wanted and she too had a great experience. I have not experienced any negativities in this shop. more

Glad I went here 7/11/2011

They were able to have the dress made to fit me (the top was a size 8 and the bottom was a 10, but it was all one dress) because they researched with the designer. I ordered my dress in November 2005, but didn't get married until September 2006 & they were willing to store the dress for me in their temperature controlled basement. I received multiple compliments on my dress & was glad to tell them where I found it! Also, Shelley was willing to lower the price for us when we showed her we found it cheaper somewhere else. My only snag was they measured me for my hollow-to-hem with the wrong slip on, so my dress wasn't as full as I wanted it to be (I could've gone with the fuller slip, but then the dress would've been too short). more

Personalized attention 7/11/2011

Shelly's is a small boutique that strives to give every bride personalized attention. The consultants help you pull dresses and the merchandise arrives when promised. There is an alteration studio upstairs and a custom veil designer that comes in once a month. My dress is one of the most beautiful gowns I have seen and everyone thought it cost a fortune when it really did not. I had a custom veil made to compliment it and could not have been happier with the overall result. more

I would definitely recommend them 7/5/2011

I had a great experience at Shelley's. It was the first and only place I went to get my dress. My consultant was Christina and she was great. She was honest about what looked good and what didn't and had me try on everything so I knew what would actually look good on and not just what I thought I liked. I didn't feel like they pressured me at all to buy my dress the first day and I got 20% off because I did! Shelley was in the salon as well and I ended up buying the 3rd dress I tried on, although I did try on like 15. My dress came in in 5 months and it fits perfectly. The only thing I didn't like is they convinced me to buy a slip which was like $80 and I don't need. But they took it back! Which I guess isn't typically their policy, but I really appreciated that they did. I would definitely recommend! more

Great place but make an appointment 7/5/2011

Everything I Needed! I'm not use to writing reviews online, but I figure I should start now. Shelley's Bridal doesn't deliver the experience the reviews paint. We had a wonderful experience at the salon. I purchased my bridal gown, bridesmaid dress, and veil at Shelley's. Every visit the girls have made me feel so special. I did take exactly 4 months for the bridesmaid dresses to get in, so I'm glad that we gave ourselves enough time to order. My mother wasn't ready and the consultants tried so hard to see if they could rush a dress, but it wasn't possible. I made an appointment at an expo with the salon, and was glad because they were busy that Saturday. They had run out of the Bridal Gift bags when I came for my first appointment but the girls were so nice to give me one when we were back for bridesmaid. My advice more

They were very helpful. Unfortunately I cannot remember the name of the girl who helped me. She was great!! Definitely call to make an appointment before you come in to look. I did, but others who were there when I was did not make an appointment and some of the staff was complaining. Plus I got preferred treatment since I made an appointment. more

Truly talented 6/14/2011

I love this place. Its so nice and the upstairs alterations department is AMAZING! They made my dress fit like a glove. They were just amazing. My sister brought her dress there two years ago so I had to see if they could do the same for me. They were packed when we went but it didnt matter, we were taken care of and the dresses were so pretty and reasonable. Id go there for the best selection and value around the area. And I can't thank the alterations department enough. Truly talented woman up there. more

Very helpful and friendly 6/14/2011

This place has a decent selection of bride and bridesmaid dresses. Staff was helpful and friendly. They let me search for dresses and then made some suggestions for me as well. My mom and I spent 3 hrs in total there, got stuck trying to decide between two dresses. We were not rushed at all. If you make an appointment and find a dress the same visit as your appointment....order the dress and you will get 20% off! In addition to placing an order the same day, you get a coupon book that includes 30% off invitations, 15% off a bride accessory and a free bridesmaid dress if you order 3 or more dresses there. I recommend this place...i'm staying away from H.O.B. and Bridesmart, all reviews say they're awful! Good luck to you!!!! more

Great variety 6/6/2011

My bridesmaid found this store, and after looking at reviews I was hesitant to check it out. I hadn't had any luck at other stores (i'm very petitie, so dress shopping hasn't been my favorite part!) so figured I'd check it out. I can't stress this enough-- They have been NOTHING BUT WONDERFUL. They made me go from hating dress shopping to absolutely LOVING IT! I have went up there 3 times already (I wanted to show my mom and bridesmaids the dress) and they have been incredible every single time! more

Family feel 5/6/2011

I am really surprised by the negative reviews for this place, I know each bride has their own experience and taste, so if you are a girl who prefers personable, laid back people, this shop is for you. I LOVED how Jasmine was not pushy and left me with many options. She was never sales-like, nor made me stay in a dress forever--that is one thing I can't stand when I have been places. If a dress is not me, I do not want to sit there discussing every little detail of the dress, I want to try on the next one! Jasmine let me do this and I tried on 5 dresses in less than a hour and even my sisters tried on 6 or so bridesmaid dresses in an hour. I really enjoyed how it Shelley's gave off a family feel rather than a stuffy feel. They have a good selection of dresses and are decently priced. I cannot wait to go try on my dress for my Dad and purchase it!!! more

So far so good as well I already purchased my dress before I saw these reviews. I've had a pleasant experience thus far. Never met Shelly. Little disappointed about not receiving a bag of goodies though. That sucks. Specially after 6 bridesmaids and a $900 dress. And the other girl bought nothing. Oh Well more

Fantastic Customer Service My wedding is September 2010 and I went to several bridal salons searching for beautiful dresses for my bridesmaids. Every single salon disappointed me with their limited selections and lack of customer service skills. I was so overwhelmed and extremely worried because I was running out of time and energy. I decided to try Shelley's out and OMG!!! The entire staff at Shelley's Bridal were absolutely fantastic! I was a little skeptical after purchasing my bridesmaids gowns here because I ran across some distasteful reviews. I was reassured that an entire new staff was on board and that I would be pleased. Pleased is an understatement! They knocked my socks off with the timing of my order, the quality of the dresses, and the professionalism throughout the entire ordeal. I am so happy that I didn't let the negative reviews sway me away because I would have seriously missed out! I love this bridal salon and I will definitely reccommend to anyone planning a wedding!!!!! more

DO NOT SHOP AT SHELLEY'S 3/17/2011

Shelley is a rude and unprofessional businesswoman. I ordered and paid for my daughters prom dress. Shelley messed up placing the order. No apology. Just a quick, rude, brush off. No one at this shop appears to like working there, even Shelley. Don't waste your time. I visited many shops (Mona Lisa, Peaches, The Prom Shoppe). The employees and owners were happy, friendly, polite, and helpful. Shopping here will frustrate you and waste your time. Believe all the bad reviews!!! I'm upset I had to give this 1 star. I tried to submit it w/o any!!! more
