Farewell to a wonderful little meeting place with terrific coffee, pastries and congenial atmosphere for all who entered. Everyone was invited to linger, talk, ease through the day while nestled among wonderful little retail shops and galleries. We all followed the crabapple tree from Atlantic beach to the neptune beach location, and loved the atmosphere and shoppe, but sadly, its gone out of business and is now closing. If she ever opens another location, we must all make sure to frequent it so that we can make sure she stays in the biz! If you see her, tell her I said hi! more

Nestled within the Neptune Beach community is Shelby's Coffee Shoppe where the locals love to gather. You can breathe in the ocean air while sipping on a fresh cup of hot coffee and enjoying conversation with family and friends, or just relaxing with some quite time for yourself. The locally made deserts, homemade fudge and ice cream isn't all you can get at Shelby's if you find coffee isn't enough. Shelby's also offers a breakfast and lunch menu which features bagels, eggs, fresh salads and fabulous sandwiches. I have found these to big some of the biggest sandwiches in town, piled high with the best meats and cheeses available. This sharp little coffee house tucked away in Neptune Beach is must-see! Of course they have excellent coffee and nice pastries, but they also have a great relaxed atmosphere, like Starbucks must have been before they had 7000 corporate locations. The staff is cool and funky, lots of cute skinny boys with spiky dark hair and a couple of friendly girls too. Tons of local artwork adorns the walls and there is occasionally live music. more
