Vintage Inn near Long Beach 12/24/2008

We stayed for one night at this historic Inn near the long beach peninsula. Very nice with antiques in the rooms and cookies/coffee in the parlor. Breakfast was standard but good with a fruit/yogurt starter and hot entree. more

Shelburne Inn: Classic bed and breakfast 5/3/2005

The Shelburne Inn is a wonderful place to stay -- Each room is different and full of antiques and other Victorian finds. A shower or clawfoot bath is in each room. The inn itself is wonderful, a giant fireplace downstairs, day-long coffee and tea service and a gourmet breakfast that will hold you until dinner. The set-up invites socializing; there are many regulars and it's easy to strike up a conversation with strangers and come away friends. We got married here over a year ago, there are enough rooms to host a small wedding. It was an incredible weekend. more

  • Guests from far and wide have sampled coastal cuisine at the Shelburne Inn since 1896. “Authentic” is a word we often hear our guests use to describe both the décor and the cuisine. For well over 100 years, the Shelburne Restaurant & Pub have drawn visitors and locals who enjoy its old-world ambiance. Innovative menus showcasing fresh, local ingredients are the order of the day, and the atmosphere invites one to linger. Fine yet casual dining celebrates the bounty of one of the richest culinary regions of the Pacific Northwest. Our artisan breads and desserts are made by hand in the Inn's own bakery. Emphasis is placed on wines and micro-brewed beers of the region. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are offered here with genuine, warm hospitality. Outdoor seating on the south deck pleases pub-goers who relish the summer season. The elegant dining room and stained glass “Inglenook” are the perfect romantic setting for a couple's night out or a group wishing to enjoy each others company. Treat yourself to a memorable meal and wine or beer tasting experience and the ease of strolling back to your room after dessert.
