This is a landmark in Buffalo. Shea’s has been renovated over the past 10-years. This is now one of the best places to catch a show or a concert in the country. The seating is in two sections. A lower level and a balcony. Most of prices here are very reasonable for a show. more

Great Restored Theatre 3/25/2006

Some of the largest shows in Buffalo are held at Shea’s. The inside has been restored to its previous beauty and the outside has had a face-lift in recent years. The acoustics in the theatre are great so any seat will have a superb sound. The front orchestra abuts directly to the stage while the balcony comes nearly half way over the orchestra. If you are interested in architecture this would be a place to at least look at. more

great place for entertainment 12/18/2005

This is one of my most favorite places to see any show or speaking engagements in the world. I think the best part is its history and architecture is so impressive that it takes you back. It reminds me of what theaters used to look like back in the old days. There is not a bad seat in the house either. I took my daughter there to see a show and she can't wait to go back. more

Great theater 8/21/2005

Shea's Performing Arts Center in Buffalo is a great place to visit. They offer a variety of different performances: musical, theater, concerts, children's shows, etc. The theater is newly renovated with much more comfortable seating. I have sat in all sections and have never had a problem seeing the stage. You can usually get tickets to a performance for less than $30. This is a great alternative for a night out! more
