Amazing Hair Cut! 1/24/2012

Brianna has worked wonders with my hair giving me a short, sassy style that is perfectly what I pictured going in to the appointment. I get compliments in the street (which rocks!) and direct people to Shear Bliss. This might be the best cut I've ever had, and that is no short order! I make frequent changes and am really picky. Brianna is incredibly talented! more

I've been going to Shear Bliss for over 4 years. Though a few stylists have departed to travel the world, every stylist I've ever had has 100% listened to my requests and done a great job. My family and I keep coming back! more

Great experience! 1/18/2012

I recently tried the new Aveda straightening procedure (their own take on the Brazilian Blow Out) and it was wonderful - my hair is super shiny, soft and so much faster to blow dry in the morning! Joshua was great throughout, letting me know what to expect before and then following up after to make sure everything went as expected. As usual, his customer service is fantastic! I can't say enough good things! more

Fabulous consultation and styling service!! 12/29/2011

I have super curly hair and was really happy to be able to go in for a consultation with Brianna. She's super fun and helpful, which is a great mix in a stylist. We talked about what I wanted and, since I live near the salon, she was open to letting me drop by to show her my second & third day results after I did my own at-home styling to help me find the right blend of products to get the look I want. The added bonus is everyone else at the salon is equally fabulous. Very low-key and professional. more

I love this Aveda salon. Brianna did my cut/color/highlights. She is brilliant and knows exactly what to do when I tell her what I want. Joshua cut my hair last time- he, too, is great- listens well and gave me some good tips for recreating the style that he did. Andrew is lovely- he actually walked 2 blocks to feed my meter. The ambiance is elegant and upscale- no music playing so loud you have to yell (why is that cool?). And of course, the products are great and safe for me, for the stylists and the environment. I am grateful! more

Exceeded my expectations 11/24/2011

Because of my crazy travel schedule I had could not make it in to Shear Bliss. I went to another place, more convenitnt-I cannot say the service I got from the other salon was bad. However, in comparison to the color I got at Shear Bliss -with JOSHUA there was no comparsion. There is a depth and richness to my color that no one else has been able to create, I am very happy. more

Great Results, Friendly Atmosphere 11/20/2011

Finding Shear Bliss was kind of like finishing a meal in a new restaurant and realizing that until now, you haven't been served fresh food. Rebecca is accurate with her color and was the first of 5 colorists I'd tried that gave me exactly what I asked for. I've always been happy with her cuts. Nice low key atmosphere and great group of people. more

My Favorite Cut! 11/18/2011

I absolutely LOVE this place. I have always gone to Aveda salons, and I am so happy that I found this one in SF. Everyone there is very nice, and they have wonderful, wonderful service. I have had my hair cut by Joshua for at least a year now. He always listens very carefully to what I want, and executes eat cut beautifully! I cannot recommend this place enough! I have converted three of my friends from other "trendy" places in the city and have had them try out Shear Bliss. They have all switched permanently to Shear Bliss! more
