Hands down Monique is the girl to see for any of your waxing needs. After a couple of bad experiences with other salons I got a referral to her previous studio (and an appointment with her). I would recommend her to any of my friends / family. She is professional, quick, friendly and awesome! Best of all, and I don't know how she does it, it's the least painful waxing experience I've ever had. I don't know what else to say but she's your girl. I won't go to anyone else for as long as she continues her business. more

Nancy has been cutting my hair for over 20 years. She is the best when it comes to cuts and color. Nice, relaxing atmosphere near the beach. Samson the great dane is usually there to add to the atmosphere as well. Pros: Quality service, nice atmosphere more

My friend recommended Craig at Shear Attitude in Newport BEach but I live in San Clemente so I was hesitant. Well Im in a wedding in 2 weeks so I decided to try it. Oh my gosh I am so incredibly happy I did. My hair looks amazing!! It was dark brown, all one color, so I asked for some blond highlights. He gave me his honest opinion and told me blond might be too light against dark brown. He suggested caramel highlights. After seeing my friends hair I totally trusted his advise. WOW I cant express strongly enough how amazing my hair looks! The color is bright and natural looking. I left there feeling like I could do a hair commercial. Everyone I work with, My family and friends have all made comments about how beautiful the color is and how healthy it looks. Since I have long, thick hair I have to be careful with haircuts and Im very picky about it. He did an amazing job on the color and cut!!! I will never go anywhere else to get my hair done and I will be telling everyone I know to go to Craig! Thank you ...YOU ARE AWESOME!! Pros: Its a perfect quiet little salon. A friend recommended Shear Attitude Salon and specifically, Craig, to cut and color my hair. I had never heard of Shear Attitude and it was kinda far from my house, but I decided to give it a shot. I am sooo thankful I did!! What a great experience! After a long days work, I completely enjoyed the peaceful, quiet salon. I never realized how annoying and loud the salon I had been going to for 10 years actually was!! As far as the service, FANTASTIC! Craig is a really nice guy and great to talk with. He did exactly what I asked him to do with my hair. The cut and color turned out perfect! I have never had a stylist able to do both...either the cut is good and the color is bad or vice versa. He defintitely has a TALENT! I received so many compliments on my hair. I will defintely be going back. Thanks Craig!! more

I am proud to say that I am one of Monique's first customers and I will never go to another waxing specialist. Waxing is such a personal experience for me and going to anyone else, I don't feel as comfortable, did I mention it's practically painless? I drive all the way from Santa Monica and is worth every gallon of gas. She is also incredibly knowledgable in skincare, and let me tell you, my skin hasn't looked better!! It looks better now then when I was 21! She recently moved here from another location, and this salon is by far the best! It is absolutely lovely, with contemporary chic decor, you just feel at home in such a cozy environment. Monique is such an expert at what she does it's surprising that her prices are so reasonable. I've been going to Monique for my brazilian and eyebrow waxing for about a year now. She is AWESOME! She does a great job (my husband is very happy) and makes the appointment go by so quickly that I reccommend her to everyone. She is meticulous and careful making sure you're comfortable and satisfied with the her work. Monique's the go-to-girl for brazilian waxes! She makes the time go by so fast because she's making you laugh the entire appointment. She makes you feel so comfortable because she's so comfortable. I'm an extremely modest person so this was not an easy thing for me to do. I wanted to get a bikini wax for a long time, but never worked up the courage until my friend told me about Monique. So I finally called to schedule and appointment and it was so worth it! ""You're done!"" she said with that ear to ear smile. I couldn't believe it...it really wasn't that bad! Don't get me wrong, it's no walk in the park, but I could handle it. Needless to say, it's totally worth it! more

i've been getting my eyebrows waxed by monique for a couple years now. she's a perfectionist! i love what she's done for my eyebrows! i'm an overplucker so she made me grow them out and assured me it would be worth it! (don't tell her i said this, but she was right : ) more

Love this salon! I see Monique for the ""brazilian bikini"" and eyebrow shaping. I used to see her at the Beehive, but she recently moved to shear attitude. Her room is adoreable and the salon is very private. She is very clean, fun to talk to, quick and thorough! You have to visit her, she makes what's supposed to be a horrible experience...a quick and easy one! she also helped me with my eyebrows, and boy did they need it. I never knew what a difference the shape would make. I tell everyone about her! more
