Good: after being away,10 years ago,(mil.sp.),and a complete hysterecomy at 28 yrs.old thirteen yrs. ago with out any hormone replacement therapy you could imagine what my body was going through. anyway i brought my daughter in to see her about six mounths ago and she rememberd me from 10 yrs ago, and knew some thimg was not right when my other dr.told my to stop eating so much and 7 wks later 40 lbs smaller and no change in food habits i am always on healthy diet,other dr.'never ask when was you last pd.?. Bad: can not say i didn't like any thing,it is 5 star to me.. Improvements: none at this time. more

Dr. Shaw is fine if you are healthy, have no problems conceiving, no gynecological issues and just need a year pap, but that is about all I would see her again for. I was with her for over a year from time I had precancerous cells on my cervix up till I got pregnant. She was great for the precancerous cells. She did the colposcopy and LEEP procedure and I do have to give it to her that out of battling this for years, she as the most gentle Dr. that had attempted to treat me. After I had the LEEP I called her office because I thought I may have an infection and I never got a call back. I finally started trying to get pregnant and had problems with irregular and heavy cycle bleeding. I went to this office 3 times and saw the NP twice until I finally demanded to see Dr. Shaw. When I finally got in to see her, she blew me off. She put me on metformin and clomid and sent me along my way, did no testing, no nothing. While I was on the clomid Dr. Shaw failed to monitor me (I didnt know how closely I needed to be monitored at that time) and my ovaries got overstimulated and I got pregnant with triplets. At my first prenatal appointment they did not do an ultrasound even though they knew I conceived on fertility medications. I did not feel comfortable with that so I finally decided I was going to changed doctors. That is when I found out that I was not monitored like I should have been and I was expecting 3 babies. When I called Dr. Shaw's office to cancel my next appointment, it was like pulling teeth. The receptionist asked why so I told her. The next day Dr. Shaw called me... I have NEVER been had so many people trying to keep me from leaving a doctors care than I did with Dr. Shaw. more

Dr Shaw was nothing but wonderful. I had 3 ectopics and 2 miscarriages. Dr. Shaw followed me like a hawk. She was great and when we lost the baby, the whole staff were VERY supportive. Dr. Shaw has even preformed surgery on me and I have had several surgeries done. Dr. Shaw was the only one who came in prior and sat on the edge of my bed and held my hand to reassure me that everything will be ok... We have been with her through the good and the bad. We just went through IVF and we are now pregnant and as you can guess... I wouldn't let anyone but her follow me for such a wonderful event. RJ. Brown more

Ok I really did not like Dr. Shaw but I did like her staff. I never had to wait in the waiting room more than 5 min. past my appt. time, which was nice being pregnant. Dr. Shaw just was not very worried about me, she just wanted to talk about herself and her family. The office was normally clean, every once in awhile in the rooms the trash cans would be very full and almost overflowing but other than that it was clean. The nurse was wonderful, I wish Shaw would have been like her. more
