quite like this place 6/14/2011

Wow. I've been to this place many times, and I'm not always the nicest reviewer, but I was honestly surprised to see so many negative reviews. Perhaps they saw these reviews and wised up? I actually quite like this place. I've tried a lot of the sushi rolls, as well as the shrimp and grits. more

Pleasantly surprised 5/5/2011

Wow, we eat out often and had never been to Sharky's before and not knowing what to expect we were really surprised. The fresh tile fish we had tonight was out of this world, and the gumbo was unlike anything we have had before...delicious. the service was attentive and the ambience was great, we thought we were eating on the beach...great job, keep it up. more

Amazing Restaurant 5/3/2011

I went to Sharky's on a friday night and it was busy. I did have to wait a couple of minutes but good food takes time. The hostess put my name on a screen so that i could see when i was going to be next, i thought that was pretty cool. I had a young waitress very sweet, kind and got me everything i asked for and quickly. I had the red king crab legs, and a side of cheese grits, very delicious! my husband had the fresh catch of the day, red beans n rice, green beans and the gumbo was outstanding. My husband and i thought it was pretty cool that they print out a new menu daily, so everything is very fresh. I think Sharky's is an amazing restaurant and i will defenitely be back with tons of friends. more

Best sushi in town 4/26/2011

I love this restaurant. The best sushi in town. My favorites are the gecko roll and the spicy crawfish. As far as the main entree I love the filet and I added the lobster tail. Everyone should try the drink the Miami Vice. more

Great lunch menu. The place looks cheesy from the outside but the fish I had was great. They also have a sushi bar that I didn't try. I hear the bar is pretty fun at night. more

Wow, what great food and service. We started with the Appalachicola oysters, the best we ever had and the fresh stone crab was out of this world. I did not even know you could get fresh stone crab outside of Miami. we'll be back and soon more

Love this place! 4/11/2011

I frequent there at least three times a week and have never had a bad experience. Walking through the front door you feel like you are in Destin. The girls at the front desk are always friendly and very helpful. Each meal I have had there has been hot and full of flavor. My favorite dish is the Grouper Ponchartrain. I never leave hungry nor feel like the prices are too high. I send my best to Sharky's and will dine there every chance I get. Keep up the great work! more

I have read all of the reviews and I cant help but think of sour grapes. I think the place rocks. The is food is incredible, The people are great, I feel like I am on vacation every time I walk in the door. Did your mom ever tell you that is you cant say something nice, than stick some crab in your mouth. more

Food was AMAZING 4/5/2011

We recently (3/11) ate at Sharky's and it was wonderful. Our food was amazing and the service great. The bacon wrapped shrimp appetizer was perfect! We also had a sushi roll and it was excellent. My shrimp and grits was spicy and so good! Our son had the mac and cheese and he nearly licked the plate! The scallops were the best I have had in many years. Our desserts of white chocolate bread pudding and key lime pie were the perfect conclusion, Do not miss this place!!!!! more

rocking my world 3/30/2011

I think that was due, in part, to the delicious Appletinis paired with blackened sashimi tuna. It was definitely rocking my world that day. They carry a great selection of mixed drinks, wine, and imported and domestic beer. While it's a restaurant, I didn't feel out of place keeping the food simple and focusing mainly on drinks with friends. more

Will continue to go back 3/29/2011

I've been to Sharky's three times and will definitely continue to go back. The sushi and brunch are amongst my favorite menu items.The staff was very friendly and quick. I definitely recommend this place for famililes, dates, business dinners, etc. more
