This place have one of the best soup dumplings in the city. word by mouth. not too many ppl know bout this place so far. very good-as good as some of the well known shanghai places around. more

Best Chinese Food Around 5/25/2004

I highly recommend the Shanghai Cafe. It's the sister cafe to the Village Gourmet Chinese restaurant. The food is excellent. Never greasy and the vegetables are always fresh and crisp. All their dishes are excellent! The lunch menu is a real bargain. Their food will not disappoint. The locations for both a also great - perfect for intimate dinners. Pros: Excellent food, Ambiance, Reasonable prices more
