I love Shampoo night club. I have been going there since i was 17. I chose this club to go to over any other one. The music is GREAT!!!! Its loud and gets you dancing. I love techno music and you always know the right type of songs to put on to make all of us dance frenzy people to go wild. You invite the best djs in the world to come there to spin...and your partys are wild. I love your club and i probebly always will. Oldie but still goodie. Shampoo is closest thing we have to an NYC big boy club. If the commonwealth would ever lift the Amish-like ban on closing times this place would grow more then it already has over the years. the barkeeps don't sneer, the patrons' costumes don't all come from Hot Topix, the parking's not bad, and the drink prices are no worse than anywhere...and the music surprised even me...I though Peter Murphy'd been forgotten along with manners and Victorian elegance...but the DJ had me out on the floor with my gilt fans reminding the 20-somethings that there's more to life than thrashing. a great place to go if you're curious. Shampoo definatly deserves a 10!! The music is great and there are so many differnt rooms with differnt types of music how could you get bored?!?! I have only one complaint-Almost everytime there is a special event the Far Side-"rap room" is closed and it gets so crowded its unbearable and there is no place to move thats all-KEEP THAT ROOM OPEN IS THE BEST ROOM TO DANCE IN!!! I go to Shampoo regularly,I have a guest list,the staff gets me in the club in no time,I hardly have to wait long.I take all my friends there and i recommend this club to others! Also my nickname for Shampoo is the "Poo" it sounds so cute and leaves people wondering like "What club are you going to?"
