I was walking by shalimar, there was a gentlemen standing outside handing out coupons. I figure to try it out. The food was amazing, the decore was lovely and the music was nice touch. The owner, Perry, came out and to check was everything. more

I will visit again! 6/7/2010

During a business trip to Orlando during May 2010, I had dinner two evenings at Shalimar. Both nights were terrific but especially the second evening. I enjoyed the Lamb Curry Shahi. It had boneless lamb with tasty spices. The Chef was kind enough to prepare a special Nan Bread which was not on the menu. He prepared it with ingredients per my request. This was nice. Chris the waiter was first class. A nice person and very good at what he does. He made suggestions and had an in-depth knowledge of Indian Cuisine. I will visit again during my next trip to Orlando. more

Favorite place to eat 5/14/2010

This is our favorite place to eat - the food is exceptional and the service is wonderful. We would recommend to anyone who would like to experience Indian cuisine. The menu has a variety and everything we have tried has been delicious. The atmosphere is very welcoming and comfortable. We love it & give it 5 stars....- :) Anna? more

Compliments to the manager Perry! 5/5/2010

After living in Orlando for over 10 years, my wife and I have never managed to find a good Indian Restaurant up until now. We walked into the Shalimar, and ordered a chicken vindaloo and a meat biriani. Both were delicious and flavorful, and by far the best we had ever tasted.Every compliment to the Manager, Perry and the chef on a wonderful experience........we will most certainly be back! Wonderful food, friendly people. Drove two hours, past hundreds of great resturants, just to eat at this fabulous resturant. The price is reasonable. You won't be dissapointed. more

We had the most pleasant surprise yesterday when we entered the Shalimar - the food was absolutely delicious! The food was alive with flavors! A must try if you're in Orlando!! more
