Shaker Bowl

I read this post that there were a bunch of riff-raf that hung around NOT SO. I even asked about it and they on busy nights they have brought in police just for added security just for families to feel safe with about 150 people around. I have helped with concerts before and know that it costs around $150 for a police officer for just 4 hours. Good to know they care enough to add such a costly service when they do not have to. YOU MUST TRY THEM! My wife and 2 daughters went and had a blast! Service was excellent and the snack food was good (we liked the hot pretzel). They even came over and check on us just to see how things were going. They were doing some celling work just to make it look better and I thought it looked good for a bowling ally to big with. WE WILL BE BACK. more

My Boyfriend and I recently went on a Friday night to Shaker Bowl to pick up his fourteen year old daughter. They have neon bowling balls that glow under black light and a DJ we were told. It sounded like a safe place for her and her friends to hang out together. Whenever we pulled up and went inside I was shocked. They place is all dark (due to the black lights) and the place looked like a meat market for young teens. Bowling was definitely not the main attraction here. Girls were dirty dancing with each other and there were young teens hanging outside smoking. This is my experience and opinion, but I would recommend checking the place out before letting your teen go. more
