My advice is to avoid this urologist ! I first had a failed prostate microwaving then followed by THREE failed TURP prostate operations. He billed them as ""definitive"" therapy to me and asured me that sexual sensation would ""feel the same."" He lied--\r I had major problems some of which were fixed by other surgery and some will be life long. He offered NO HELP after they occured and first misdiagnosed one thing that resulted in unnecessary weeks of pain. He did not verify that I was numb before beginning his first operation and I felt the instruments go in me and the cutting begin. He used insulting language about my physical condition in the presence of his female nurse. When a friend of mine had prostate cancer, he did NOT give him all the surgical options, including robotic, because he did not then do that procedure and would have lost a surgical fee. The guy went to B'ham and had that procedure there. SInce our area got a ""robot""- now his practice sings the praises of the advantages of that surgery.Know that what happened to me could happen to you! Note in the photo that he did NOT wear a mask in the operating room-- never during ANY of the 3 TURP operations he did on me......how un sanitary is that?\r Cons: MANY !!!! more

Not nly was my urinary trouble not fixed, I ended up with problems I was never warned could happent o me by the physician I saw (MANISH SHAH)-- I was insulted, lied to, misdiagnosed and mistreated. I think I would have gotten better care at a veternarians office. ALl surgical options were not detailed to me and my follow up treatment after the complications? ZERO to speak of.\r Know that if you go here, what happened to me could happen to you.
