Everything is good at Shaffer House Bakery. The prices are good, the donuts are good, and they make a solid maple bar. The bread is fantastic. We go here a lot to get our desserts...

Everything is good at Shaffer House Bakery. The prices are good, the donuts are good, and they make a solid maple bar. The bread is fantastic. We go here a lot to get our desserts and I like them every time. You can also get Shaffer House items in Macey’s, which is more convenient for me than driving all the way out to their small store on Main Street. more

Good desserts 8/19/2005

Shaffer’s Bakery is in a tiny tucked away building. It is not much to look at inside or out, but their products are really good. We like to get their cherry and apple pies, which are very tasty. They also have good donuts (although not the absolute best I have ever had). Their bread is also good – a local restaurant uses it. This bakery is worth a visit. more
