I was decieved in believing that my horse would be fed Horse feed twice a day along with Hay. Unfortunately, my horse lost the luster and shine in his coat and by the time I left, his ribs were showing. My horse is an easy keeper and does not require much feed to stay healthy. Since I have left my horse has regained the luster in his coat and has put on a healthy 200lbs (Took aproximately 31/2 to 4 months to recover). Luckily no long-term ill affects occured. I would never board my horse there again or trust ""the individual"" who supossedly cares and feeds the horses at Shady Oaks Stables.
