I sold the place, moved in with my brother, and used the profits to hire James Sexton to file bankruptcy on my behalf. Everything was settled and now I'm starting over. more

Other San Diego attorneys could learn from James 8/26/2013

Prior to hiring Mr. Sexton's firm, my wife and I had investigated several bankruptcy lawyers and we came away with very negative impressions of them. James was the first one we met who actually demonstrated empathy and tried to understand our situation. We were sold on him the minute we left. more

God bless James Sexton!!! 8/13/2013

My brother and his wife were laid off from their jobs in Oceanside and ended up moving in with us when their house was foreclosed. The lawyers at the Sexton firm stepped in on their behalf and worked to arrive at a solution that let them keep their house. I can't say enough about the Sexton people! more

Just an outstanding lawyer and first-class individual! 8/12/2013

I'm very fortunate to live in Oceanside: my bankruptcy lawyer, James Sexton, lives only a few miles away, and his secretary provided me his personal number to call, which I did. He helped me out with my Chapter 7 filing and filled me in on all daily happenings. I'm now almost debt-free thanks to James! more

If adversity tests your character, then I've taken a zillion exams. I turned to the Sexton Law Firm and they helped me when no one else wanted to even touch my finances with a ten-foot pole. I'm a high-credit risk and the firm was kind enough to waive half their usual fees and set up a payment plan. more

Others in Oceanside have used James’s services…so did I! 7/30/2013

Losing a high-paying job (electrical engineering) is a real blow to the ol' self-esteem. I was despondent and found it hard to keep going. My neighbor suggested I try the Sexton Law Firm, and I made an appointment to see James that day. Six months later I have a part-time job and my home is safe. more

My business weathered a Chapter 11 filing 7/26/2013

I run a small printing company here in Oceanside and employ about 15 people. I had to file bankruptcy a year ago and restructure company debt. I kept my employees informed and didn't have to let any of them go. I owe everything to the Sexton Law Firm for allowing me to keep my business open. Thanks. more
