Severna Park Bowling Lanes

My family went to Severna Park Bowling Lanes because we were looking for something new to do and found that they have duck pin bowling. None of us had bowled duckpins before, but we had a ton of fun! To help us enjoy our time, the employees offered to put up bumpers to ease up on the number of gutter balls, and were very friendly about doing so. They were also conversational and kind to our daughter. When we had a problem with our lane reset getting stuck, help was on its way immediately and we were back to our game in no time. Severna Park Bowling Lanes is a fairly small bowling alley and it is located obvously in Severna Park, Maryland. This is a good location if you are looking for a spot about midway between Baltimore and Annapolis. The bowling alley its self is fairly small. It only has about twenty lanes or so. There is a small snack area where they have a ini kitchen for pizza, hot dogs, and such. There is also a small aracde with a few video games and a basketball game. Overall this is not a great state of the art bowling alley but if you are looking for a no-frills bowling alley half way between Baltimore and Annapolis, this is a great choice. more

I lover this bowling alley. They are among the friendliest people I have met. They have a great little snack bar with a good variety of 'bar food' -pizza, fries, nachos, and beer of course. They offer birthday party packages for either kids or adults. They also offer bowling leagues for stay at home mom's during the day, and for traditional bowling league members in the evening. The decor is in flourescent paint, so they have their midnight bowling for teenagers with black lights and very loud music. For people who aren't good at bowling, they can put the bumpers up on each lane if you ask. This will prevent all gutterballs. They have automatic scoring, and cute graphics in between frames. Of course they offer shoe rentals, and they have plenty of house bowling balls to choose from. You can also buy balls here, and have them drilled here, too. more
