Seven Sisters Historic Bed & Breakfast Inn

I happen to know that the person booking the no wedding bells wedding was a new wedding planner at Seven Sisters Inn who made very bad errors by just going on her own and making decisions with out going according to the Inn's policies etc. After this incident she was fired. So do not let this incident discourage anyone from booking a wedding there. Their weddings are simply wonderful and it is unfortunate that this occurance happend and only that once! more

My daughter planned a gazebo wedding and reception there for April 7, 2007. We signed a contract and paid a deposit. One month before the wedding, the owner called us and stated that the contract was wrong. They were not going to serve the food that we had decided on(what she suggested cost 3 times as much !!!) and they had neglected to charge us for chairs, delivery, clean up and take down of the chairs!! When she finished, we were going to be charged an extra $900.00!!! She also asked if I had people to help us decorate! When we signed the contract, I was told bring in the flowers and it would be decorated and BEAUTIFULLY!! We were coming from out of town 4.5 hrs away. Our contract was NOT going to be fulfilled and they were trying to "PRICE GOUGE" us. We went there and talked to the manager. We got all of our money back, but we were left with ONE month to plan a wedding in Ocala from Ft. Lauderdale. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND SEVEN SISTERS INN TO ANYONE!!! I plan to write to the Ocala Newspaper about them! more

My fiancé and I had a horrible experience with Seven Sisters. We booked our wedding night suite in Egypt last September and tried to pay them in advanced and they told us to wait. When we called a few weeks before the wedding to confirm the reservation, Seven Sisters told us they didn't have our reservation and that they already booked the room to someone else. The woman was very rude to my fiancé and when she asked to speak to the owner, he was just as rude and would not help us at all. We are currently searching for a room in Ocala to stay for our wedding night with 3 weeks to go before the wedding. I would STRONGLY advise not to stay at Seven Sisters. more

A Victorian 3 story renovated and operating as a bed and breakfast. What a great spot. Each bedroom is different and named after a different sister. The food is fabulous and the whole atmosphere inspires rest and realxation. Periodically they offer a murder mystery dinner theatre that is lots of fun too. This is a great gift for those people who "have everything." more
