I was very disappointed with this establishment. I went there for one SPECIFIC problem- my car was having problems starting. So he changes my spark plugs, $600 later. When i went to pick up my car, when all the work had been finished and was paid for, he then tells me that I have the wrong battery in the car. I m thinking, well, shouldn t that have been what you fixed, versus my spark plugs? Not even a week later, my car wouldn t start at a gas station. I have it towed to him, and he tells me that its my starter and its fried because of the battery. He wanted to charge me nearly $900 for a starter and a battery! both parts combined are about $300- for a Honda Civic. Not even a complicated car. I would not recommend him to anyone, nor will I ever step foot in that establishment again. more

I'm really impressed. I went for an inspection and they handled my car quickly. The front desk clerk was polite, and there was even a scented candle burning in the lobby (which was a nice touch, actually). I've finally found a mechanic to come back to! more

Took our 2001 VW Jetta here and they priced the work at $1850 for a catalytic converter, o2 sensor, spark plugs and wires. Catalytic work is high anyhow, but I think this is steep. Took it elsewhere nearby and had the work done, with equivalent parts, for $600 less. They were not up front about the $185 charge just for checking out the problem... verbally or on paper. Shop was customer-oriented and polite in every way EXCEPT those which dealt with my money and personally, that's what matters most to me, second only to the work being done right. I moved to Odenton from Northern Virginia. The sign out front reads Maryland Inspections while you wait. Inside the Business Owner greeted me with a smile and positive attitude. I was pleased to hear that this was a family owned business and has been here for over 25 years. Coming from a family of small business owners, in a small town, the personalized service that I received was a clear reminder of the old days. My car was inspected and serviced. They mentioned my brakes were worn, but I could still pass inspection. I opted to get the brakes done then. I will return for my regular maintanence intervals. Pros: good service more
