This place came highly recommended and was filled with well-dressed Japanese people, so I ignored the funky bad a/c smell that I noticed when I first walked in. We ordered tempura, seaweed salad, the assorted sushi platter, the spicy lobster roll and the atlantic roll. The miso soup was good. The tempura was passable, but artifically yellow in colour. The sushi and the make rolls were terrible. The fish cuts were veiny, discolored, looked like they were cut with a bread knife and the tuna had a bone in it. The lobster roll was ok. The atlantic roll was very sloppily put together. The roll was not even sliced all the way through.
Pros: nice decor, classy clientele, polite service
Cons: horrid food, poor presentation, place smells bad
