When we first moved to Ithaca, the Service League Thrift Shop had a whole bunch of things that I knew we'd need to survive here, including warm sweaters, raincoat, and warm socks. The store is small enough to be manageable, but has enough stock to ensure you'll probably find what you're looking for. Because this is a rather affluent community, there are often really nice items that have been donated. Plus, it's conveniently located downtown across from the DeWitt Building on the corner of Cayuga and Seneca streets in the Women's Community Center building.
