Servello & Son Landscaping

I use to work for Servello, At that Time They had some of the best in the business working For Them. Unfortunatly now for them it is not about quality, but time and money. A lot of their employees are under trained and under qualifyed to do lawn maintenance. As for myself. I would stick to smaller landscaping Co's They are more reliable and they have much better quality than Larger landscaping companies and for some its not always about the money. Just remember this You get what you pay for. If you go with this company chances are you will regret it... more

I'm writing to compliment your lawn service on the excellent job they are doing. Things look wonderful all over Venetian Bay in spite of the frezeing temperatures this winter. Your crew keeps the lawns looking great,the driveways and sidewalks edged and the bushes trimmed. Matt the supervisor has personally stopped by several times to be sure everything is ok. I appreciate that so much. more

Thank you for all your help with getting our clubhouse ready for the reopening. The guys working putting in the plants on the pool deck were fast and cleaned up after themselves. The sprinkler techs were very knowledgeable. The finished landscape was beautiful. You made it look easy. more

Servello & Son has maintained our property for over a year now and we have found them cooperative in working with our landscape needs. Our manager Chris returns my phone calls quickly and has been very helpful with our irrigation issues. more

I have used many other companies and all were good except servello and son. I would always have problems with the managers bein rude and unwilling to talk and work with me on quality, and they would never help the problem. I went so far as to call the corporate office and talk to manager there. I talk to and eventually met one of the top managers of the company John Dougherty and i wish i had not have met him. He was very obnoxious and very rude. He acked as if he didn't need my buisness. We walked the property and he was on the phone the whole time. He was just very rude. The quality issues were weeds in beds, trees not prunned up off of cars, i had many issues with residents cars bein scratched, and the bushes not bein prunned. The bushes would go weeks without being prunned i always had to ask before they were done. I just highly recommend that you do not use this company. I used them cause there bid was low but i regret hiring them. So if you see this company in your bids to save your property and save your money for a better company. This company does the worst job I have ever seen in landscaping. DO NOT USE....DO NOT RECOMMEND. The workers are lazy and don't do a complete job. The company is not eco-freindly using gas blowers and large mowers for small areas, just to get the work done faster. The workers hack plants and bushes, do not pick up the leaves and do not clean the areas they work in. They use the blowers just to push items around and give a fasle look of completion of a job. If you want a quick grass cut use the neighborhood boy instead of paying this company. Workers have been seen sleeping in the trucks or just walking around carrying a rake instead of doing the work. They have no regard for plants or grass, they are just doing a quick job...better to use kids from the neighborhood, instead of paying this company. If you don't care what the finish product looks like then this is the company to use. If you a contract with them tear it up and find another company.....you'll be happier in the end. Cons: Lazy, non-completion of work, not eco-freindly more
