Was quoted a grossly inflated price for a minor repair, was told the car manfacturer only sold a small bracket that was broken with a body panel, got a quote for whole body panel,...

Great Service and Honest Folks!! 3/30/2011

I just picked up my 1998 Hundai from Sernio's, all I can say is WOW!! In 1998 when the car was brand new, the care was caught in a hail storm which Sernio's fixed the damaged panels. I brought it back to Sernio's about a month ago and showed them that the paint has faded on the hood. Ishowed them my receipt from the repair and they gave me an appointment. When I picked up my car there was absolutely no charge and they even cleaned the car. I am very impressed to say the least not even the dealer/factory gives you this type of warranty. The folks at Sernio's are honest and loyal to there customers! Thank you so much!!! more

Complete rip off 6/28/2010

Was quoted a grossly inflated price for a minor repair, was told the car manfacturer only sold a small bracket that was broken with a body panel, got a quote for whole body panel, plus painting (over $500 of work) . I made one phone call to a dealer, they sell the bracket for $50 bucks. If you like getting ripped off this is your place. more

The Absolute BEST! 4/6/2010

I wouldn't trust my car with anyone else. I have been a Sernios's customer for the past 15 years that I have lived in Jersey CIty. John Sernio is as honest as they come-- a true gentleman and good old fashioned businessman. The staff that I know--- Athena, Jessica, Rosie, Carlos---- they know their stuff and are the epitome of customer service. You will be treated fairly, professionally and knowledably at Sernios's. Don't even think twice about using them---- they are the best in the business. more

Simple and efficient 5/26/2007

Sernio's is also one of NJM's preferred shops. I found them to be extremely knowledgeable (at least the staffer I dealt with). They did a good job, were very easy to work with - paper work and claims processing were non-issues. I'm happy and comfortable going back to them. more

Good Auto repair 8/17/2005

Sernios is conveniently located in the heart of Jersey City. They are also Liberty Mutual's preferred repair shop in Jersey City. The large outfit can handle a larger volume, so your car won't be out for days. The work is guaranteed, if you find any flaws or mishaps, they'll take responsibility, as all honest repair shops should. Open minded quotes and the staff is easy to work with. They patiently explain everything and there are no financial surprises. I got drop-off service. I took my car to Sernios and they dropped me off to work (staff allowing). The claim was hassle free. I was not even involved in payment. The insurance company is directly billed and paid. more
