The BEST Color in LA ... I've Been Everywhere! 5/8/2006

I had a corrective color done by Johnathan Gale. Not only did it turn out amazing, but he was so attentive, even though I was a first-time client. I found the service here to be the best I've received in LA salons. Everyone from the receptionist to the assistant looked after me from the minute I made my appointment and were polite and friendly. Snooty, pricey but very, very good 12/25/2004

For a truly great haircut, go see Matthew Shields, the transplanted Brit at Sally H. Expensive, but so worth it! For the greatest colorist on the planet, it's gotta be Negin, who can transform a disaster into hair nirvana, any color possible. Yes, it's snooty and self important in there, and SO very affected, but ignore it and go for the skills of these people. Individually, all staff members are super nice, it's just that the collective vibe gets so ridiculously chic and overdone. Dress warmly, it can get cold in there with all the glass and the reflecting pool. Pros: Stellar cuts, Incredible color, Everyone on time Cons: , Snooty, Can get chilly more

extremely pricey? yes.. but i was extremely happy with Chris, my stylist, and my haircut. I will go back, just have to have the $! more
