Clean & Quaint 1/28/2009

Affordable, clean, and nice management. When you arrive, you are given complimentary wine and cookies. There is an outdoor spa, and our cabin (#4) had a jacuzzi. They have DirectTV, and dvd's available to borrow. Two nights cost just over $250. Quiet area, lots of trees. Food in bistro is a little pricey, we chose to buy food and prepare it in the kitchenette. Really cute and homey, kind of like staying at a friend's place, except you return from a day out to fresh towels and clean dishes. Pros: cute, close to trout lake, private Cons: not many places nearby to eat more

Wonderful Mountain Get Away! 3/27/2008

Talk about a fabulous find! My husband and I received a gift certificate for a wedding present to Serenitys. We were thouroughly delighted with the place. The cabin where we stayed was so cozy and clean. The bathroom was spacious and contained a jacuzzi tub. Even the toiletries were top notch. I know my husband was also thrilled to see the beautiufl flat screen HDTV. You have an option for dinner; eat in the lodge or have it delivered to your room. We had the food delivered. It was very delicious. My husbands steak was perfect and my salmon very tasty. An hour after dinner, a fabulous dessert arrived. We were not ""bothered' by the management at all. In fact, Marcie is a very fun lady to talk to. She invited us to make time to sit in the hot tub and inquired as to whether or not we needed more towels to do so. All in all it was a fabulous get away. I have recomended to other family members that we may want to rent one of the larger cabins in the near future. We look forward to going back to our romantic little mountain get-away. The only thing I could say about the comment about management being ""rude""....BRIDEZILLA! I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the heater in our room was a little noisy. Pros: Very cozy, romantic, clean, good food Cons: Things close in the area at 7:00 p.m. in the winter more
