September's Cafe

I am a doctor in the Sumner County Area and enjoy the times I actually get to go out and enjoy myself. The first time I ate at Septembers I was not impressed.The food was ok and the service was so so but it was not long after they opened and i understand it takes a while to ""get your ducks in a row"". I recently found out that a cook that worked at Logans Roadhouse that my wife and I just loved named Trent was working there.On my next visit I called ahead to see if he was working before we made plans to give it a second try.He was so we decided to give it a second try.Everything was much better this time.Our server Steve was very knowledgable and attentive and took care of all our needs.We asked specifically for Trent to cook our food and it was excellent. I ordered the New York Strip and my wife had the French cut Pork chops.We were very pleased and will be going back. Pros: Great food if Trent is working more

I can not believe this place is in H'ville. Are you kidding me? Amoungst the Chili's, O'Charlies and Applebees, we are now presented with arguably the best restaurant in the Nashville area. Excellent service, fresh, quality, thought-out food that, while not cheap, is excellent. I had the Roasted Duck...superb. Never had better. The martini's are great and the atmosphere is very nice..,comfortable while not snooty. Keep up the great work! Pros: Great atmosphere and service is outstanding Cons: Parking is a little rough more

the porkchops are the best i have ever tasted and my little girl loves the mac and cheese. the servers are the best we have visited semptembers twich the 1st time steve took care of us and we thought he was the best server ever then we return and chris took equally good care of us. both times i had the pork and it was awsome Pros: service and food Cons: cant thing of any more
