I actually love this place.Awesome food, cheap, authentic, normally great & attentive service.Clean appearance on both the inside & outside. We go here all the time.We were having another terrific meal & service was again great.Towards the end of our meal, we noticed that in one of our side dishes, there was a dead bugh about the size of a fingernail in it! It was on its back & you could clearly see its legs.Gross! So we notified our server. He was very apologetic but unfortunately I can't really say the same thing about his mgr.He politely took the dish & showed it to her.She took one look at it & tilted it so as not to expose the creepy crawler to the table she was at.Then she picked it up, threw it back in the dish, & said somethg to our server. Our server came back to us & told us that the mgr said this was normal & that some ppl actually eat it! He looked just as horrified as us & admitted that he had never seen anyone eat a bugh like this but that the manager insisted that it was normal! We obviously were not satisfied with this answer & kept insisting and asking if he would normally serve this if he saw it. He eventually took it back to his mgr & she took another look, picked it up, put it in her mouth & ate it! Are you kidding me! She then moved on about her business & did not so much as even look at us! It's not like we were looking for a free meal or any sort of special service although that's probably what any normal, respectable restrnt would have offered at the very least! What buggs me (no pun intended) is that this mgr, as much as she was mingling with each of the other customers, couldnt even stop by our table to apologize or even look at us for that matter. I no this place is a good restrnt &(I can't believe I'm saying this) I would even give them the benefit of the doubt & say that this isnt a normal occurrence but Im finished going here just for the mere fact that this management is rude enough to eat a bugg just so as to avoid the situation.
Pros: Great food for great price, attentive service
Cons: Manager eats buggs
