Selective Dentistry

I came to doctor saliba for a second opinion, I had gone to another suposedly ""popular"" dentist in Newport Beach that has pictures with movie stars and all. The diagnosis was that I needed gum surgery and a specialist that comes in to the office once a week will do it for me, I was looking for another opinion, I read the reviews and saw doctor saliba's picture, when i called the office at 8 pm hoping to leave a message they actually answered, I was told it's a small private office and the phone is always forwarded to them directly when they're not in the office ""THAT'S AWSOME"", they offered me a complimentary consultation. Doctor Saliba looked at my x-rays and did a full exam on me. His recommendation was that I DID NOT need gum surgery, but I did need periodontal treatments. I've had all the treatments recommended and since I've shared my information with a family member who's a dentist back east, he told me that doctor saliba's recommendation was dead on and he's glad that I found him because he's truly an honest caring dentist and is not recommending things that are not required. I've had many treatments with doctor saliba including cosmetic work and I've grown to love this office, I've referred many patients to them and I call it this office the ANTI-DENTIST. I saw Dr. Saliba 2 years ago when I was visiting family 2 years ago. I live in New York and come here twice a year. When I went back to New York, I had a visit with my regular dentist for a cleaning and I told him I had a filling done when I was here to visit. He didn't beleive me, he couldn't see where the filling was done, we went back and fourth and when he took an x-ray he verified I had a filling done with Dr. Saliba. He was so impressed with the finish of the work a simple filling looked so natural he couldn't even tell, he wrote a letter to Dr. Saliba and complimented him on his work. Minor but I've had a lot more done since. As far as I'm concerned a dentist that receives compliments from another dentist is worth traveling for. Thank you Dr. Saliba I'm glad I've met yyou and your wonderful staff. Look forward to seeing you again in 6 months. more

Very happy with my results, I had cosmetic work done, my husband and children had routine dentistry. We feel like family when we visit this office, I have 4 children, usually I call in and Pascale will set a schedule for all of us on one day. Very nice office and Doctor Saliba is very gentle and caring. I did a lot of research and especially price, Dr. Saliba is very reasonable and you get your money's worth because there's no shortcuts in anything he does, top quality. I recommend anyone looking for a great dentist to come to selective dentistry, now I know why they call it selective. Because I was selective when I chose them, and I selected the best! more

I've had veneers on the my teeth for years, I had ongoing problems with them and they were coming off every once in a while, I kept seeing my other dentist and he would recement them for me. I wanted to get a second opinion and my best friend said I had to go see Dr. Saliba. My first impression was very good, I didn't feel like it was a dental office. I walked in, Dr. Saliba happened to be free at the time, he sat with me in the office and we had a casual conversation. Their office is very cute, small, and very comforting. We must've talked for a half an hour about everything else but dentistry. I felt like I was sitting with a friend instead of a dentist. I scheduled an appointment and came back on a different day. This office has all that modern dentistry has to offer, digital x-rays, etc... I had Dr. Saliba replace my veneers, and we replaced them with these thin zirconium crowns that look and feel just like my natural teeth. I'm so happy with my upper teeth I'm now waiting for the new year to fix the bottom front. One of my front teeth had major decay under the veneer, I was very disappointed to find that out because just a month previous to my visit with Dr. Saliba, I had seen my other dentist which is also in the same area. I've lived in this area for years, over the years I've seen many dentists, I was recently referred to Dr. Saliba I went first and loved the office, loved the staff and the gentle touch Dr. Saliba has. I took my kids in because Dr. Saliba has a lot of experience with children. He always lets me stand close when he's working on my kids. Now I'm having my cosmetic work redone from years ago. I didn't realize how bad my previous cosmetic work was until I saw Dr. Saliba's final results on my smile. Amazing, comfortable, understanding, cozy office. I would recommend this place to anyone. It's like a very different type of dental office, I should really keep it as my secret... :-) more
