I referred my newly graduated daughter to Select Imports based on online reviews. All she can afford is an old Honda Civic. Select Auto's service was over and above my expectations. They took care of my daughter's car and my daughter, going beyond the work needed and not charging any additional fee. I really appreciate how they treated my daughter. Awesome service and prices 12/30/2010

OK.. so I looked everywhere for a trustworthy mechanic. LOOK NO further than here. While I am used to being jerked around when I was in NYC and when I moved down here, I went to the HondaShop in 2002 and never looked back. They are the best. The waiting room is excellent. more

They Treat Women Like Humans! 10/27/2010

One of the things I liked about Jon when I first met him at his former HondaShop was that he never treated me like a "stupid woman," he always explained things to me before performing the work and NEVER has tried to take advantage of me as a female consumer. And since bringing Stephanie on board? Even better! She knows her stuff and yet never makes you feel stupid for asking a silly question. They've been taking care of my Hondas for nearly a decade and I would enthusiastically recommend them to anyone - female or male! more

WONDERFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE! 6/24/2010

I was referred to Select Import by Just Inspections down the street when I failed my emissions inspection. Just Inspections first suggested I go to Toyota (the dealership, as my car as a Camry) because they thought my car's issues might be covered under the Toyota recall. Turns out my car was too old of a model, but I found it very impressive that Select suggested that instead of just doing the repair and taking the money. Pros: customer service, cost more

Great Shop 4/20/2010

Can't remember how I found this place - - been several years now. We specifically buy Hondas now just because we have a dependable, honest shop we can take them to. These guys are great and true to their word. Definitely worth the drive from Waxhaw. more

Have a Toyota/Lexus or Honda/Acura? Why would you take this vehicle anywhere else? Select Import is the best in town. They are honest, friendly, courteous, and fast. The staff helped me to prioritize repairs that needed to be done. I can always count on them for incredible service. Trust is important when it comes to vehicle maintenance and repair and you can certainly find it here. Pros: honesty, integrity, friendly service Cons: NONE more

Working with Jon and the team are easy, honest and predictable. Meaning - when issues arise, their assessment of the issue and cost are spot-on leaving no surprises. Simply The Best! 2/11/2010

When we moved to Charlotte 6 years ago we were very lucky to find this gem of a business. We have had our 91 Accord serviced here 3 times. Even though we moved to Huntersville 3 years ago, we will always remain loyal to this business. They are consumate professionals and will continue to get our business even when our '91 eventually goes to pasture. We can't say enough about this business! more

Great customer service 1/7/2010

I found this wonderful shop several years ago on the recommendation of a friend who also had a Honda. They are the nicest group of people and offer outstanding customer service. The lobby has free wifi, coffee and comfortable seating. They always address all my service concerns and never try and sell me on unnecessary services. Great place to take your car 9/25/2009

If you are looking for an honest shop that will take good care of your car, this is the place to go. They won't try to upsell you stuff you don't need, and they will show you why you need to do the things they suggest. They've serviced my Honda for 3+ years. I love that they started working on Lexus, because now my wife won't have to take ours to the dealer. To top it all off, they pass out lottery tickets on Thursdays and I won $75 the last time I got my oil changed. Pros: Superior service Cons: N/A more

Very Impressed with Service and Approach 9/14/2009

I found select imports on the web and tried them since I have a Honda and have been unhappy with my dealers service (and prices) as of late. Great move...after meeting Stephanie at the front desk it was like we've known each other for years, very friendly. I got some work done while I waited with the Free Wi-Fi which was really convenient. After the service was performed I found out that I get a Free Auto Bell Car Wash since it was on a Wednesday (BONUS!). Pros: Free Wi-Fi, Free car wash Wednesday w/ oil change more
