I bought a japanese sewing machine from the 1950's on Ebay. When it arrived it didn't work and had no manual. I couldn't even find a reference to the machine, let alone a manual on the web. I had all but given up hope when I took it to Seidel's and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. The shop is run from the repairman's house. He seemed to know everything about sewing machines. He was able to fix the sewing machine, and find a replacement manual for $50 bucks. He also found a replacement chord to an old sewing machine I had kicking around. I really couldn't be more pleased.
