Howdy Elwyn and crew! For more than 10 years we have been getting our freshwater fish for Segrest Farms and couldn't be happier. I've even made a trip down to Tampa from our hometown of Austin, TX just to see what makes this such a great wholesaler, it's the people! They all care about retaining your business and taking care of the animals in their facility. On the rare occasion that I?ve had a problem it has always been dealt with swiftly and efficiently. I get all my freshwater fish (and a decent chunk of my saltwater fish) from Segrest and they've never failed to impress me. From my first conversation with my representative Kurt my opinion of him, and the company in general, has only risen. If there's a particular fish I'm looking for, they go out of their way to find it. If I want something to be a certain size or to make sure I get exactly what the customer is looking for, they make it happen. Kurt has even gone as far as hand picking out a specific color of Betta for one of my customer's special orders. I've tried other companies and even when they're absolutely trying to impress me so I continue buying from them, the standard service I recieve from Segrest has won them out by a long shot. more

I order from Segrest Farms every week, over $1200.00 these guys never miss a beat, the fish are always beautiful and healthy, great prices, and an awesome shipping price. These guys supply about 50% of my fish and business has been amazing! more

We ordered just two twice, the second order came in with small goldfish and some tadpoles about $300 worth. The fish were covered in ich (fish disease) we treated them for ich but they were too far along and died, only the tadpoles survived. The company offers $0 in refund but a small credit on future orders so we were out nearly $500 with shipping and fish medicine. They dont care about the condition of fish when you get them, they said so over the phone. more
