I walked into this store the first time ""just to look,"" and I was greeted with a warm smile and a friendly welcome. The next thing I got was a free chocolate sample.
And suddenly I was looking over truffles, with the kind and patient woman behind the counter cheerfully offering up a sample of everything I had doubts on (incidentally, beware the ginger, and go for the chocolate chip!).
I hadn't realized how often I returned, until recently, when the clerk asked if I'd come back for more of ""my"" cafe au lait truffles (my favorites!).
The store often appears to be empty, but lines form quickly. And the ever-smiling staff is always there to exchange conversation and profer up free samples while we wait.
Seriously, who can resist?
The only negatives to this See's are general to the chain: the (justifiable) expense, and a lack of sugarless options.
Pros: Friendly Atmosphere, Wide Variety, Original Design
Cons: , High Caloric Content, Expensive
