Check out their reviews on Yahoo local. This is the rudest company I have ever been exposed to. At first I had a business in Lee's Summit using this service. When I sold the business they would not negotiate on the contract so had to have Castle Guard removed from our home and Service One put in to fulfill the contract. Then they screwed the pad into our bathroom sewage pipe and years later when the screws rusted it leaked all over our walls. Had to replace them and Service One refused to take responsibility. Then we recently called them to see if our contract was out and they told us it was...we also discussed upgrading our system..They gave us a price of over $800.00. We talked to ADT and they would give us the same upgrade for $90.00. So we called Security One to cancel our service with them. They got angry...very angry and then told us our contract was not out and we would have to give them several hundred dollars in cash to disconnect. We responded to their rudeness and they then refused to disconnect until we were nice about it. They cancelled our disconnect again after that. We finally just paid up to get them out of our home. From the rating on Yahoo Local I see we are not the only ones with this problem. Please use another company. Once these people get their equipment in your home they think they own you. Another thing....other security companies leave their equipment. This one does not. It was an absolute nightmare, the entire experience with them.
