The Scene
The name here suggests two things: either a well-spiced selection on the menu or a diverse and changing offering. Both are accurate at this fairly new restaurant that does it all--chicken, beef and seafood, cooked in a variety of ways with international influences that are distinct and well-executed. The one common denominator is that Seasons represents the best in moderately priced food in the Midlothian area. Unfortunately for Southside residents, higher-end restaurants plentiful in the West End and downtown are in short supply south of the river; Seasons provides an upscale though not extravagant choice for diners here. The service is friendly and the diverse menu makes Seasons a good place to take groups where different people have different preferences. --Sunita Ray
