We've tried a bunch of different Sear's portrait studios and were pleased to find that the Braintree store had a large waiting area with television and toys to keep kids from getting too antsy while waiting for their turn.
It took a while for them to wait on us, but it was a busy Saturday morning, so I suppose that's to be expected. When it was our turn we took our daughter into the studio and she refused to smile.
Now, I know the photographer can't be blamed for an uncooperative child, however, she didn't try too hard to make her smile. The photographer was an inexperienced teenager who just waved a stuffed bear in front of the baby. To her credit, she did ask a manager to come and try, too.
One very positive thing about this studio is that they didn't put the hard sell on us to buy extra portraits at the end. Perhaps they were just trying to get rid of my uncooperative child! 8)
