Sears makes no special accommodations even when it's there mistake. We purchased a washer/dryer and waited a week for it to be delivered. What was finally delivered was not what we ordered- a gas dryer when we ordered an electric one. So, we have to wait another week. ""Sorry, there's nothin I kin do"" says the call center script reader. So another week goes by and they come again but cannot install because the plug doesn't match-- this after we ordered a special adapter (that they failed to bring) and explained the need for same up front. So we are told that they are booked so we have to wait another week says the delivery man who speaks almost no English. So I call customer service and nobody can be bothered. They all sound like you are holding them up from their lunch. Forget speaking to a supervisor or anybody with an ounce of sympathy in them. So another week goes by and they come again and still no adapter and tell us that we have to install a new plug altogether and that if we did they could come back the same day to complete the hook up. However, the number they leave is to customer service and again, nobody cares about you or your dirty clothes pile. So we eventually had to pay someone to come out and install the machines. Sears doesn't care about customer service.
