Don't let the line scare you 10/16/2005

For a while now, every restaurant in this location has always gone bankrupt. However, since opening, Seafood Village has shattered that curse. In fact, this place is so busy, customers are willing to park on a residential street and walk. Because the parking lot only has about twenty something spots and has to be shared amongst other restaurants/shops in the plaza, it is safe to say the parking lot is very hectic sometimes. Once you find parking, though, hurry and grab a ticket to wait in line. It is usually only about 5 minutes or so. They have menus posted outside so you can read what you'd like to order while you wait. They have lunch specials ranging from 4.95 and up. I recommend the steamed tilapia, deep fried fish, three delicacy bean curd, and crab legs if you're in the mood to eat crabs sans a cracker. And as always, they serve free soup and tea. more

yet another seafood place! 10/4/2005

Did I mention that seafood is my favorite kind of food. This place is absolutely superly wonderful. The food made here are designed in certain ways to make you want to eat it right when you see it. Although i ordered some sort of beef they designed it and made it seem like lobster. The place is very exciting and offers wonderful dishes! Once again Drinks are so good that i ordered usually more than i should. more

Traditional chinese restaurant 9/2/2005

Traditional chinese restaurant that you would want to bring a group of people to hae dinner. Typical Lazy Susan and bowls of rice. I recommend the X.O. scallops and the spicy salt crab. Also good is the jellyfish cold platter. Jellyfish is chewy, sweet and cold. The non-seafood items are also good. more

better than many 8/5/2005

It used to be that the purpose of the Seafood Village Restaurnat was to sell you some food and a nice atmosphere, and keep things pleasant enough to get you to want to come back another time and give them more money. No problem there. It was never a fancy restaurant, but it tried to be nicer than others. And it succeeded. A very mellow place to go, where you could overeat a little and relax. more
