The Sea Palace Market is less a palace, more like your "average home" market. The selection of seafood and meat is about what you'd find at any market in town, maybe less than at some. Live seafood is limited to oysters, crabs and a couple others. The market also sells a variety of other Asian and Asian Pacific food items--wines, cooking oils, sauces, spices, fruits and vegetables, tofu and noodles. Dutch and British tinned sweets and cookies reflect a colonial history. American foods are represented mostly by snack items, such as Pringles.
