Sea Horse Oceanfront Inn

The Seahorse Motel in Neptune Beach is right on the beach. It is a small two story motel and it is very reasonably priced. Whenever out of town guests come to visit this is a great place for them to stay. The rooms are spacious and they have ocean views. The 1st floor rooms have patios and the 2nd floor rooms all have balconies. Also, six of the units have kitchenettes and there is one large penthouse with a living room, dining room, full kitchen and separate bedroom as well as sofa beds. Even though it is right on the beach they also have a nice pool and shuffleboard, picnic tables, and grills if you want to cookout. Outside by the pool there is a bar called the Lemon Bar. The location is great. It is right in the middle of Town Center where there are great restaurants like Ragtime Tavern and the Sun Dog Diner. more

across the street from the nicer, better kept Sea Turtle Inn, the flamingo pink with teal trim hotel has to be as old as I am... and i'm not sure when they've been last renovated. However, their new Lemon Bar, on the beachside, has in recent year become quite the hang out for the younger crowd. it's on the beach, all outdoors, often has live music, and will always have a hip crowd. don't worry about walking up from the beach in a bathing suit and flip flops, but dont try to walk out the gate with your drink... its not allowed. more

Right in the heart of the beautiful Town Center or Neptune Beach is the Sea Horse Oceanfront Inn. Within walking distance, you can go to any number of great restaurants, exquisite shops, art gallery, and lively nightclubs. The best part about the Sea Horse in is that even though every room offers a private patio or balcony right on the white sand beaches of the First Coast’s claim to the Atlantic Ocean, the rooms are still reasonably priced and clean. To begin or end your plans for the evening, you can leisurely enjoy the friendly Oceanfront Lemon Bar right on the beach. The Sea Horse Inn also has a sparkling pool and a private beach walkover for all its patrons. This is where I stayed while looking for permanent residence in this area. Unlike large chains, the Sea Horse Inn still remains quaint and friendly. The hotel has character and ambiance. The staff will go out of their way to make sure all of their guests are comfortable and that any questions a person may have about the area are answered. This is the perfect hotel for families, business traveler, or whomever you chose to spend a few sunny days on the beach with. The prices vary with the influx of the tourist season. Over any holidays, make sure to request your reservation early. more
