Arrived in Charleston very early Sunday morning from Pittsburgh, PA. We then made a trip to the ocean so that our 2 year old could get a glimpse of it before lunch. We originally planned on going to the Beachhouse on Isle of Palms, but unfortunately our attire wasn't acceptable. We stopped on a local street and asked a resident where a good casual place to dine was and he suggested the Sea Biscuit. We arrived to find that they only serve breakfast on Sundays, but that was fine by us. The toddler ordered the kids cake (pancake) meal, and mom and dad got omelets, she the crab, he the shrimp. These are probably the best omelets I've ever tasted. They came with option of grits or home fries, and were garnished with a slice of fresh tomato, and fruit. We enjoyed the experience so much that we returned on our last day in Charleston. My wife and son got the same things they ordered origionally but I had Crab Cakes Benidict-Yumm.
Pros: Fresh food, the kids cake is a pancake with fruit to make it look like a simly with ears
Cons: very small size, need to arrive early. Others could consider this "quaint" Worth the wait
