The screen door is like an antique barn mixed with an indoor flea market, with a dash of crazy vintage crafts thrown in to keep it fun. It's huge, separated into little booths maintained by different artists and retailers..but virtually unmanned- so you can linger and wander, and take your time just looking and picking through all the different items- with no pressure to buy. And each booth really is different from the next, with items running from 50 cents to 150 dollars- from bedazzled magnets to antique bed frames - there's something for every one and every budget. When I go, I usually bring a small notepad and pen, so I can jot down some of the craft ideas I see. I generally buy some things, and then go home inspired by what I've seen and make more...On a recent visit I came home with a stack of clay flower pots, a Santa Claus candle, a cowboy lunch bag, and a pop up greeting card...The screen door is a great place to stroll with friends, or a fun way to spend an afternoon alone. Enjoy!
