It's funny how a couple of people who may or may not have had a bad experience can write bad stuff. I have been doing business at Don Mallon Chevrolet for almost 30 years. I will admit that in that time, I may have been less than pleased once or twice, but more often than not it was due to my lack of care for my own truck. The staff there has always tried to help me. I have purcheased 5 cars and trucks there and have used them for service for all of them. I always have left with a fair price, never waited too long and never did they try to sell me something my vehicle did not need. I would reccomend them to everyone. more

HORRIBLE! I would not recommend going to Don Mallon for ANY reason. I bought my car there about 3 yrs ago and regretted it from the beginning. We were pressured and ripped off, but it was our fault for allowing that to happen. The second we signed those papers the attitude of the sales people changed dramatically! I had to go in there a couple days later for them to make a new key (with my infant daughter) and 4 HOURS later I finally was able to leave with a key the barely works! I've gone in several times for our free oil change and never had to wait less than an hour! This last time we went in for our "free oil change" but was charged bc the car didnt say it needed it, even though it was over a year since we were in? Also our windshield wipers stopped working so my husband asked them to fix that but got a call from them saying we had over $900 worth of work that NEEDED to be done! We brought it to Valenti in Mystic bc it sounded fishy. Good thing we did bc NOT ONE of the things they said was wrong was actually wrong! Needless to say we will NEVER be going back there again. I was hoping to keep my free oil changes but I don't trust them with my car at all. Save yourself some time and $$$$$ and go to Valenti's - they're awesome! more

DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE. I purchased a used car from Don Mallon over a month ago and they have not done almost anything that they promised they would. Every time i go there (Even when it came time to sign the bill and pick up the car) i have to come back because my car is not ready or they gave away the loaner car i was supposed to get. The manager Roger is extremely rude and acts as if he's being bothered by doing his job. Furthermore they hid extra charges for things i had told them i did not want when i bought my car and I have to fight with them to get them to do the basic things that my warranty give me the right to have. The dealers and mechanics are very pleasant but the management stops caring as soon as the bill of sale is made. more

We purchased a used car from mallon in January and still do not have what was promised us by the saleman. It is highly unlikely we will ever deal with them again. The sales staff tells you what you want to hear until the sale is finalized, then "customer service" goes out the window. more

while out looking for a new car i came upon Mallon Chevrolet. They let us take our time looking. when i found the right car and took it for a test ride, I couldn't wait to make it final. more
