I was extremely pleased with the fast service to repair my bumper that was chewed up by a frozen snow bank. They got me in the next day after the estimate and work was completed in two days. They helped me get a rental car with a ride to and from. The rental car business even gave a special Scotty's rate.\r \r The car bumper looks great and I am very pleased with the efficient and speedy service. more

Scotty's took very good care of my truck after it was hit. the repairs looked great, the paint job made my truck look like new again. they took care of the rental truck and dealt with the insurance company for me as well. overall i was very satisfied with the work and the service i received as a customer at Scotty's Body Shop. more

Scotty's Body Shop is the place to go. I have brought my car in a couple times and not once has there been any issues! In fact, when anyone has an issue with their car and it needs body work Scotty's is the only place I suggest! Also, Scotty's has amazing customer service and they are always a pleasure to talk to! I will not go anywhere else! The customer service was above and beyond exceptional. They took care of everything. I made an appointment, gave them the insurance information, and that's it. They took care of it all. They explained everything simple and to the point and they had the rental car waiting for me when i dropped my truck off for repair. They are the ONLY body shop I've been to, that I have felt like they treated me like a person, not a paycheck. They did a great job!! more

I had a deer try to tackle my 03 Ford truck - didn't know were to take it but chose Scotty's because of the reviews on this site. Had never dealt with a body shop before but after going to Scotty's I won't go anywhere else they treated me very well and did a perfect job. They are awesome. I have been telling everyone that asks me about my truck, were I got it fixed, and I tell them that if they need something done to go there. more

Excellent Body Shop--THE BEST! 4/26/2012

While no one loves a body shop, Scotty's Body Shop on Linden made the pain so much less. They were able to get two cars completed ASAP. My son's car was done in three days so that he could get back to Chicago. My car took a few more days, but WEEKS less than when I went to the dealer. How can this be? They are that good. The service was excellent. They even returned my rental car which saved me time. Hopefully, I won't need them soon. But I recommend them to everyone in Des Moines who needs work done on their cars. The BEST! more

Exellent Service 9/18/2011

Several co-workers had told me about the service they had received from Scotty's. I was involved in an accident and had significant damage to the front passener door on my Suburban. I have metallic paint which adds to the process to repair any damage. There were also a couple of small items to be repaired. Scotty's did an excellent job. If you didn't know what was repaired you would not be able to find those areas now. In additition to the repairs they also cleaned my Suburban inside and out before I picked it up. I stopped by with the estimate I received from the insurance company on a Wednesday and they got me in that next Monday. There was some additional damage to parts within the door that were not included in the original estimate; they contacted the insurance company and had it taken care of without my involvement. The staff was very friendly, helpful and professional. If I ever need bodyshop services again I will definitely go to Scotty's. Mike Lehnus more

Hard to Beat for a Great Job 9/18/2011

I had heard about Scotty's from a friend and got into a small accident and decided to give them a call. I called on Thursday and they took my car in on the folllowing Monday. Their charge was reasonable and I also had them fix up some other dings on my car which they did at no extra charge. I picked up the car after two days of service, the outside looked great and they also went into great detail to clean the insides, including some stains on my carpet. Fast, clean and reliable. Best Place for Auto Body Work 5/30/2011

When I needed body work on my car I asked my friends if they could recommend a body shop. Scotty’s Body Shop was the name that kept coming up. Now I know why. Taking my car to Scotty’s Body Shop is like stepping back in time where the customer service and workmanship goes beyond expectation. Excellent Service!!! 5/17/2011

My brother-in-law recommended Scotty's . . . said he'd never get his work done anywhere else. Since he's very picky about his car, I trust his advice. I was totally impressed with everything from the first phone call to picking up my keys and pulling away. The office staff at Scotty's is so knowledgeable and friendly, and the work was excellent and very professional. Every step of the process exceeded my expectations. THE BEST BODY SHOP EVER!! 3/9/2011

I just got my car repaired at Scottys Body Shop downtown. They did a fantasic job! They went over and above my expectations..even took care of some additional things that I didn't pay for! Scotty's Body Shop - Great Service 1/2/2011

We hit a deer with our Yukon and had a ton of damage. Scott's arranged to tow the vehicle, worked with our insurance, and made the repairs in a very timely manner. The staff was professional and friendly. They made it very easy on us. Their workmanship was great and our vehicle looks like new again. I would definetly use their services again. more

The staff at Scotty's, especially the front office, made this experience easy. Not only were they knowledgable and efficient, they were accomodating, friendly, and patient . From the initial quote to the scheduling and completion of the work, Scotty's did a great job. The phones are answered quickly and professionally. They all worked with me to insure I was happy with the work performed. I will bring my cars to them if I need collision repair again and I recommend them to everyone. more
