I am so utterly impressed by Scottsdale Education Center. I have recommended it to so many friends and families. The second you walk in, you know that this is exactly where you want your child to be learning and improving. My child went here for Calculus tutoring for AP Calc, and her tutor, Mr. Pantier was AMAZING! He got her right on track with where she was falling behind. All the concepts were cleared right up, and needless to say, she ended up with an A in the course. Not only do the tutors truly exemplify greatness and take each session with such care and expertise, but the environment of the overall center is so warm and welcoming. Jessica at the front desk always has a smile on her face. And Kim, the owner, treats each client with the utmost care and attention. She makes you feel like you and your child are being taken care of to get the most out of each session. All and all, if you are in need of tutoring in Scottsdale, PV, Phoenix, Glendale, or even TIM-BUCK-TOO... definitely step into Scottsdale Education Center. You'll never turn back. more

I have been to many tutoring businesses in an attempt to raise my Chemistry AP grade and prepare for the ACT. The only one that I found to help was Scottsdale Education Center. My Chemistry grade went from a B- to an A, and my ACT went up 5 points!! Scottsdale Education Center is also the best environment for tutoring that I have come across. I was greeted everyday with smiling faces and positive attitudes, and I actually looked forward to coming in to learn! The tutors know what they are talking about. They answered all of my questions, and made me feel really smart everyday! I owe so much to Scottsdale Education Center! I am attending an Ivy League school next year, and Scottsdale Education Center was exactly what I needed to help me get there. They offer so many services and are much less pricey than other tutoring places in Scottsdale. I would recommend Scottsdale Education Center to everyone!!! more

I went to S.E.C. a few times for SAT prep and subject tutoring, and it was an amazing experience. It is such a great atmosphere for learning. The tutors are friendly and very knowledgable. My scores went up significantly, and my grades went up, as well. S.E.C. helped me so much! It's clean and efficient, and definitely the best tutoring experience I've ever had. Martial Arts studios are in every strip mall all over this city. Scottsdale Martial Arts Center, taught by Ray Hughes is by far the best! Ray has such a passion for the Martial Arts and a passion for teaching children. Humor, and ""getting down to a kid's level"" is Ray's unique way of teaching respect and discipline. He's truly a remarkable and unique man. Pros: The instructor, Ray Hughes. State of the art facility, convenient class hours, great parking. Cons: None. more

Worth the money, and the time, the Scottsdale Education Center has been an excellent choice for my daughter. Her confidence has grown, her (already good) grades have gone up, and her belief that she will succeed as a student has been strengthened. In my experience every student who walks in the door is greeted like a rock star and immediately treated with the disclosure of just where they are (on any given day) going to begin working. SEC helped to further my education. they've assisted me with math and in prep for the SAT. without them i wouldn't be where or who i am today. Pros: good pricing, in-depth tutoring, great environment Cons: none to really speak of. more

Parents & Students - Take some time to read this: I did my homework, I interviewed tutors all around town. I chose SEC becuase of the quality of their work and enthusiasm to help my 14 year old. We started out in all private lessons and my son had a C average in Math and a B in Language Arts and a low B in Science. Not any more. He now has an A in Math and LA and a high B in Science. Best of all, his committment to school (which was good to begin with) is great now. He loves to go to SEC because he's seeing his grades go up and the atmoshpere there is nearly viral. Couldn't be achieved in a pure, private setting. The staff and the rest of the kids mearly make learning a sport. It's fun. IT WORKS! SEC gets our highest recommendation. The Miller's. Pros: Atmosphere, Staff, Smiles, Focus, Quality and Commitment. Cons: None. There is no downside here. more
