I had been to Patricia's salon and completely loved it. I got haircut and highlight done. The staff was very friendly and inviting. My stylist was very friendly and eager to help me make up my mind. She gave my hairs perfect layers and stunning highlights to make it look sexy. I would say you should visit Patricia's salon once,I am really impressed and would recommend it to all . more

I have dark black hair and I could never understand what color may suit me. My stylist i think her name was Nico, suggested me copper brown highlight will be kinda perfect according to my appearance…. And no queries she was right.She gave me the perfect look I alwayz wanted……. Thanks dear..!!!!!!! more

Had a facial on Saturday . Best facial I've had in years. it was really busy in the salon when I came in so I was worried that it wouldn't be relaxing in the room but I was wrong. She put me at ease right away and the whole facial was so relaxing, I almost fell asleep! My skin is still looking great, not red like after some facials, just looks really clean and glowing. I think I will definitely be back for another facial in next month . Overall, salon was clean, staff friendly. I might go back and try their hair services too. more

I am a working lady and very particular about things. But some time work takes toil over me and when i need to finish i need to finish nothing stops me. So this attitude of me made me miss my many appointment's made at Patricias Salon. It was friday evening i was walking back from office and received a call from patricias salon about a appointment for hair-cut which was overdue for a month and massage appointment also cancelled 3 times........oh gosh. So i decided Saturday was my time to rejuvenate myself. Finally i made it to Patricias salon and there I was greeted with warm smile and a fresh juice. It had already started feeling fresh.......ha ha ha. Then i decide to go for hair cut-color, mink eyelashes and swedish body massage. Leda started with hair-cut and she gave me nice trendy bob cut with a blond color to it. I really need to say this at Patricias they use natural color which has minimum chemical in it that is the reason the hair stays as natural as it was, no damage even after hair color. Then was the turn of eyelash, that also done with natural hairs and i looked stunning. Now was the time for my body also to have a stunning feel with body massage. The masseuse had real good hand whenever she massaged people could hear loud roars from my room. When she finished it felt so light and relaxed. When i finished my thing it was very late and i said to patricias now i don't want to go home and prepare lunch why don't u offer free lunch. She said "why not" . I thought she was kidding but then i was served piping hot lunch. Later Patricia shared with me that they offer free lunch on saturday to there clients. What a day for me a complete relaxed feeling. I have placed this warning in other sites. Ok, like i can’t even believe this woman is still in business. One day last summer i decided to treat myself and go all out for some celebrity extensions. i didn’t want to go into Manhattan so i searched where i live; Queens. Do NOT participate or spend your money in Patricia's Salon on Steinway, Astoria, NY. i wasted 1,000 on hair and them putting it in. As soon as i stepped out into the daylight outside the salon, i could see that the hair did not match up to my natural hair!!!. i called them the next day and told them that i was not happy; they do NOT give refunds. my situation: i am a black woman; ok, that is the FIRST challenge, but a professional salon should be able to work with all hair; and if not then don’t take my money. ok, so each bag of hair is 300. Patricia herself did my hair. i told her that the hair was way to straight for my hair; because she did not want to refund my money, she continued to insult me saying that the hair i purchased match my hair when it did not. What an insult; stevie wonder could see that i had two different types of hair in my head. Finally, 3 days later, she took it out; and wanted to charge me to take it out! i told her that i would blog her salon so negatively if she did not take this stuff out of my hair; she did take it out; all they care about is money. for 1,000; i was supposed to FEEL and LOOK like Beyonce (her hair) and that did not happen. Stay away from these people. Also, the cash register is right at the entrance; you must pay up front; before you receive your service; which is NOT right, what if you are not satisfied the same day, as was my case? they already have your money; i know of NO salon that takes your money first. do my hair, then if i am satisfied, i pay and tip you. Please, black woman....don’t trust her; also, she down talked hair from Mona's and Lugo's (which is where all women buy the most expensive hair you can buy). I have been wanted extension for some time now and found Patricia's salon i mad an appt to talk with someone and see my options well, when i got there a lady took me in the back and right away told me it wouls cost $2,000 she looked like she could of cared less for my bussiness when i started to ask some question about the hair about how they put them in. She was very rude and i wouldnt think about giving them any of my money EVER !!!!! She was nasty and would never tell anyone to go there i found a lady that does a better job and for half the money !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! more
