Scotland Run Golf Club

Played Scotland Run over the weekend and I have to say it was outstanding in every way. From the layout and conditions to the pro shop staff and clubhouse. I had heard so many great things about this course I'm glad I decided to take a little ride to check it out myself. It's a must play. more

What's not to like about this golf course? Conditions are really good and it's fun to play. Staff is always nice and pace of play is never an issue. Be sure to stop by the pub for a burger. Scotland Run is the entire package. It won't disappoint. more

I attended a thank you luncheon for Heartland Hospice volunteers. We had a lovely private room with an attentive server. My salad with poached pears, gorgonzola cheese, and candied walnuts exceeded my expectations. All the different sandwiches and salads were nicely presented, and certainly seemed to be enjoyed by my dining companions. I would like to visit again on my own dime! Pros: Wonderful food and service! Cons: None that I could see. more

I have played this golf course several times and it is a fun course to play. It has some challenging holes but it is a little forgiving. The greens are usually tricky and a little fast. I continue to play when I have the opportunity more

I have visited the Pub and Grill for lunch and for Brunch. I very much enjoyed both. The Sunday brunch is a buffet, but is presented beautifully. I also booked a Communion Party in the private rooms upstairs. While the menu/bar was pricey, the event was wonderful, the food was delicious and the staff was very good. more

This place has great food and it also does many other good things. Like weddings. It also has outdoor eating where you are right next to the golf course. Whether you are golfing or eating, this place is great! they have a very varied menu too for all tastes. more

Scotland Run is a beautiful facility from head to toe. The staff is extremely professional, cordial and personable. I have been playing golf, having dinner and enjoying their late afternoon entertainment for several years now, and I find it to be a very enjoyable experience each and every time. Their Sunday brunch is absolutely phenominal! The golf course can be extremely challenging from the back tees or quite user friendly from the white tees. I usually play there with my father and my 13 year old son and all 3 generations find the facility and the staff to be rated #1. And the Belhaven beer on tap is awesome too!! I have been fortunate to bring both out of town family and friends to Scotland Run and everyone simply raves about their experience there. And no, I am not on the payroll ; )).
