This jail is the worst jail in N.C. You would not believe how the inmates are treated. They are made sleep on concrete floors during the day because they are locked out of their rooms with NO mats. They have ants, mold ,mildew all over this jail and cells. They are constantly having inspections. Wouldn't it be funny if they had to close the jail down because of nastiness? They NEVER have tissue. They don't want to give you anything.NO soap, NO pads for females{maybe thats why they run out of tissue}. Inmates have bites all over them from where ants and insects have bit them on the floor. The blankets have holes in them. The bread is molded. The hot- dogs are green, one of the officers said '' its the fat in the hot dog'' [wrong answer] hot dogs don't have fat! Inmates get 1 uniform, and 2 blankets for the week ; can you imagine the way those uniforms will smell in a week? What about those blankets after being on the floor? Capt. Goins is a sorry Capt for letting this happen. They don't CLEAN EVERYDAY the way they should!! Those cells[all of them] should be cleaned after breakfast and before bed!! People are walking up in there everyday you don't know where they have been or where they are coming from. So why not CLEAN
