Lulu was recommended by a friend and I instantly became a huge fan! You can tell immediately that she cares about making your skin the best it can be and wants to help you achieve it. She recommends products and treatments but you never feel pressured to buy anything like you do at some big spas. A close friend referred me to Scientifica and got me a gift certificate. Right away Lulu put me at ease with her calm, compassionate manner and professionalism. She used all kinds of cool products and machines and I walked out of there not looking all red and scary at all. I never understood why people get facials until I went to Lulu. She is gentle and her products are extremely gentle yet provide results. I have super sensitive skin, very prone to redness, and incredibly sensitive to extractions. Lulu somehow manages to give me a super deep facial while not causing massive breakouts, redness and welts (unlike other facials I have had performed by hyped-up clinicians!). She listens to what I have to say, and never pushes her products (though they're addictive! My skin has really never looked better). I get compliments all the time! I can not say enough good things about Lulu, her products, or her facials. She is a complete professional while still being warm and inviting. I am blessed with pretty good skin and she still took my concerns completely seriously and gave me a skin make over. People have commented on my skin over and over again since I have been seeing her. I am also a confirmed picture, doing home surgeries on my face. She has been able to get me to quit to habit by her deep cleaning, and the way her products help me maintain. As someone who has been getting facials for over a decade to manage my problem skin, I can rightfully say that I have FINALLY found the answer to my prayers with Scientifica! Lulu is beyond professional, has such a way with the manner in which she pampers you and your skin with her touch and is so absolutely lovely just to be around! I have spent the last 5 years looking for the best facialist and skin care specialist in New York and have finally found her. To put it simply, Lulu is amazing. She understands both the science and art of skin care and has put together a regimen for me that has worked wonders in a very short period of time. On top of that, she is just a pleasure to be around. Her products and treatments do exactly what she tells me they will do which is proof that she is an expert, and she gives great tips for how to change old, bad habits and develop new, good ones(showering, making your products go as far as they can, being in the sun, etc.) I've been to her 3 times so far and have walked out thoroughly impressed and more than satisfied each time. My experience with Lulu's service were both internally and externally cleansing. She not only extracted my skin like no one ever has, leaving my face looking cleaner than ever, she also inspired me. She keeps her service room so clean and crisp and unbelievable smelling good that you don't even think about the fact that you are not in a large spa. It feels spa like all the way. Everything from the products she uses -- wihch is of her own great line-- to the closing of the sale is thoughtfully planned. I have been to a lot of facialists in the city...a lot of bad ones, a lot of very expensive ones...and Lulu has impressed me as the best one. First of all, the quality of the service is just amazing. Lulu takes the time to talk to you, learn about your lifestyle, your diet, etc. then she thoroughly analyzes your skin and recommends the best adapted treatment. She is extremely professional and pleasant. You just feel she knows exactly what she is doing and trust her with every single suggestion! Hands down the best facial ever! I've been for facials 3 times over the 6 months and my skin has never looked better - so much so that people take notice. Lulu is magical and from the moment you walk into her cozy and comfortable space, all your troubles are washed away. The facial is so relaxing and calming that I have fallen asleep during extractions! The woman has a magic touch! I walk out with no redness in my face - just a glow. I just recently had the pumpkin peel and highly recommend (it's delicious). My favorite Scientifica product is the raspberry lactic scrub - it's AMAZING! Although I have to say I use 5 other products daily (that I can't live without) - the cherry wash, hydra-pure toner, clear& bright, solaris sunblock and as of yesterday, the cran-lit moisturizer for nighttime. more

It is not often that I would say that getting extractions is an enjoyable experience. Lulu has the perfect ability to blend thorough extractions with a therapeutic facial. The entire experience, from the location where she clearly put a lot of time and caring, to her wonderful demeanor is just perfect. She is never rushed and I have never felt like she is in a hurry to get me out to get to her next appointment. She is so caring and clearly loves what she does, which to me, is her biggest asset. I am 31 years old and have struggled with acne since I was 15. I have taken Acutane (TWICE!), I have seen a plethora of dermatologists (all put me on antibiotics which worked until the season changed - I am convinced they understand nothing about taking care of skin!!!!), I tried proactive (which cleared up my skin but left it with an unappealing texture). I have tried so many products and pills and techniques. All because I didn't know Lulu of Scientifica Skincare. Lulu is amazing!! I've been twice and my skin has never been better. As a woman with fair , sensitive skin I am very particular in what skincare I use. I have left other spas looking like a piece of raw meat..., but with Lulu this is not the case. The space is a great escape from the hustle and bustle of downtown, and Lulu's knowledge of skin is amazing.
